[FESTIVAL EVENT] Round Robin

I will provide you with a small excerpt, and you will follow. Still confused? Just look at the rules.

Round Robin Rules
- This event, I repeat, STARTS NOW.
- Members who are participating are listed under the cut, and you will go in the exact order from that list.
- Wait until your turn. Don't skip anyone unless the person before you does not post in a timely manner.
- If you can't think of anything, just post the word SKIP and the next member will be allowed to go. You will not be taken out of the game if you post this.
- If a member does not post within 15 HOURS, you will be skipped automatically for the first time. If you are skipped for a third time, you will be taken off of the Round Robin list. Please don't abuse the time limit.
- Remember that each post has a word limit. You CANNOT double post, so make sure that you get your story/point across effectively.
- YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A WRITING GOD FOR THIS CONTEST, BUT YOU MUST AT LEAST BE ABLE TO FORM A LOGICAL SENTENCE AND PASS THE STORY ALONG. I do NOT want to see any net speak during this. I will just delete the post and ask the next member to continue if that is the case.
- Please refrain from commenting on someone's piece until after the event is over.
- If you can't participate any longer, please make a comment here.
- If you'd like to participate in the game, you must comment here. Don't just jump in to the game. I'll just delete your comment.
- And while this is hard for me to say this...NO PR0N GUYS! D:

He grabbed a chair and spun it around before sitting. His gaze never left her, analyzing every little movement. "Do you care to explain?"
that's what she said: naruto: nejitenintimidate on February 11th, 2009 12:14 am (UTC)
Neji sat there in silence, slightly puzzled and slightly annoyed at her answer. He didn't want to pry, especially since it wasn't in his nature to go out of his way for other people's business, but he'd be lying is he said he wasn't at least a little bit curious. He wanted to know what exactly was her problem because her change in training hours were beginning to bother him. And when something bothered him, it became very much his business.

With that, he stood up and walked briskly out of the room.

Five minutes later, he found himself trying his hardest not to scowl and strangle his wide-eyed male teammate. Lee quivered fearfully at the tension Neji seemed to be emitting. "B-But Neji, precious friend and top rival of mine! Spying is a sin!"

"It is not."

"Against our dearest flower, IT IS," Lee insisted, a pleading look in his eyes. Neji frowned as Lee whipped his head around warily, as if expecting their female teammate to pop out from behind a building and attack in all her weapon-wielding glory.

"I..." Lee's voice dropped to a whisper, further annoying Neji, who had already reached the end of his patience. He should have known better than to ask Lee, really. The fondness Lee held for Tenten could only be described as how a little boy would look up to their big sister. "I cannot. While I am deeply swayed by your concern of our dear Tenten, I cannot spy on her!"

Lee finished with loud wail in what Neji assumed was shame. Neji closed his eyes to calm himself and tried to think of another way to persuade his overly-dramatic companion.

"Are you not worried?" Neji asked. Lee stopped wailing.

"Of course I am!"

Neji raised an eyebrow and shook his head lightly. Lee's bottom lip quivered at the expression, just like Neji knew it would. "It doesn't seem like it, Lee."

"But I-"

"It's not spying. It's looking out."

Lee looked torn and sat himself on the sidewalk with a look of serious contemplation, staring at the sidewalk with his brows deeply furrowed. After a couple of minutes, Lee looked up suddenly, looking Neji straight in the eyes. Neji looked at him impassively.

"So what's it going to be, Lee?"
