Fic: Perhaps Fate

I've finally finished my chaptered fic, Perhaps Fate.  It's 10 chapters in total, including the epilogue.

[ She could still smell the blood on her hands ]

Gimme some feedback? Pretty please?

Hey, I'm not part of the comm but I lurk here like whoa. Anyways, your fic made me cry, especially the last chapter. And seriously. I do not cry a lot.

I especially like the characterization (especially Neji) for this story but judging from most of your fics I think you've pretty much had that covered. Nice touch with the Chinese legend thing. It seems so fitting for a Tenten-centric fic. The part with number 7 ties it up nicely. Did you really plan to use it since the beginning or was it a last minute thing. If the latter, well, brilliant. If the former, it's still brilliant anyways =P

Th flow of the fic is also brilliant <3. Disjointedness and flashforwards in the epilogue made it all the more wonderful. You haven't overdone it and made it all choppy like most authors tend to do.

Just a question, I'm clueless on this one, did Tenten die in the end? Cause I don't reeally get the part about Isako being destroyed. Meh, it was probably just me.

Whoa, I'm ranting. Anyways, wonderful job. I loved it!

Aiya - don't worry, it's not just you; quite a few people have been asking me about the ending. Well, basically, Tenten died somewhere between the eighth and ninth year. She went back to her job as a mercenary after leaving Konoha and was simply killed on one of her jobs. Isako being destroyed just means that the last physical commemoration of what happened between them was gone (unless you count their twins, of course.) The last two parts are from the first year they met again after she left Konoha for the last time, and no, Tenten telling Neji that she would be there next year was not a mockery of what really would happen in the future (her death and her NOT being there) - it was just me trying to show that while they were together, even though a happy ever after was not guaranteed, they still had hope for the future. =]

Um, the Chinese legend was a completely last minute thing. It was the festival a while ago and I read about celebrations in the papers. ^_^" It fit so much to their situation, and the part about the princess being from heaven and Tenten's name meaning 'heaven' was too much for me to resist.

Anyway, sry if my own ranting bored you. Thank you for such a nice review =] *huggles*
